The words on the book in my banner are: The World is But a Canvas to the Imagination.
A book requires a writer. But it also requires a reader with the creative ability to enter into the story and follow along on the journey. In all of my stories, which range from contemporary to futuristic to fantasy, the common element is my desire to fire your imagination. You, the reader, are the vital partner in this endeavor.
Please follow me as I take you on a journey into the heart of your imagination.
In my non-writing life, I’m a wife and mother of three. I do all the things any mother does, from carpooling to tutoring to explaining the inexplicable. As a side benefit of marriage with Traveling Man, I’ve been to some places I love. I want to share some of them on this site.
Scotland - Beautiful, evocative, full of history.
Glencoe is the site of one of the most heinous crimes in Scottish history, when, in a planned massacre in 1692, the men of the clan MacDonald were murdered in cold blood by guests to whom they’d offered hospitality. Looks peaceful today, huh?

Hawaii – romantic, beautiful paradise. This is the Swan Court restaurant at the Marriott Hotel on Maui. It’s a restaurant my husband and I loved many years ago when we were young and impressionable and it was a huge splurge. I was a bit hesitant to return, worried that it would never measure up. But it did. Beyond those palm trees is the Pacific Ocean. My favorite thing about Hawaii is the huge number of places you can dine right on the water. Everything from fine dining to cheeseburger shacks.
Please visit the site again in October when I’ll show pictures of our trip to Austria.

As a writer, I love the way other people put words together and I’m a collector of quotes.
Here are a few I like:
For myself I am an optimist – it does not seem to be much use being anything else. ~ Winston Churchill
Make the most of yourself … for that is all there is of you.
~Ralph Waldo EmersonIf you don’t like sex, you’re not my audience.
~ Who said this? I’d love to give them the credit.
If you have any favorite quotes, please send them on to me right here. You may see them here at some point.
