I’m giving away a free copy of The Star Necklace in August. (This is an epublished book.)
You have two ways to enter the contest:
First, you can sign up for my quarterly newsletter, with periodic free reads, here. The first copy of the newsletter features an epilogue to Scarlet and the Sheriff. (My newsletter is sent out only when I have news, a contest, or a new free read. You may unsubscribe at any time.)
Second, you can take my brief survey about who your favorite type of hero is. Click here. There are no wrong answers, so have fun choosing. I’ll publish the response in my newsletter.
There will be a third way to enter the contest coming at a later time. Please check back. This section below is for a previous contest. Please ignore for now. [The third way is to click on the link below and add this icon on your website, blog, your twitter, your Facebook or MySpace pages. Every time you add it, you get an entry to the contest. So, the more you post, the more chances you have to win.]

The code is a bit daunting, huh? That’s why we have cut and paste. It takes just a second to copy this code and paste it where you want it. Every time you post the icon, email me here and tell me the url where you posted it. Please put “Contest Icon” in the subject of your email so I can give you your entry quickly.
Well, why not one more chance for those of you who’ve read the book? Answer this question about Scarlet and the Sheriff: What do Scarlet and the sheriff do right after they are caught skinny dipping? That’s not too hard, is it? Send me your answer and I’ll put your name in the hat once more.
The fine print: I will draw the winner at random for both prizes at the end of October. Each entrant is eligible for each prize, but one person cannot win both. Note: each posting of the link or filling in the forms above earns you one entry. So, you could have several entries (one for a Facebook posting, one for your website, one for doing the survey, etc.) but you can’t have multiple entries for the same part of the game. (Don’t answer the survey 100 times to get 100 entries.) I hope to get lots of participation but I don’t like spam any more than you do!
